Students at St Augustine’s Catholic High School and St Benedict’s Catholic High School, both part of the Magnificat Sixth Form, are celebrating another year of outstanding A-Level results.
St Augustine’s saw a strong performance this year, with many students securing places at top universities, including Russell Group institutions, as well as competitive apprenticeships.
Headteacher Luke Payton praised students’ resilience:
“These results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of staff, and the support of families. We are incredibly proud.”
Notable successes include:
Noah Barker – A*/A*/Distinction*, heading to Loughborough for Aeronautical Engineering
Joseph Seager – A*/A*/A, going to Warwick to study Economics
Christa Vincent – A*/A/A, studying Chemical Engineering at Manchester
Alexander Day-Jones, Conrad Skrycki, and others also achieved top grades and secured impressive university places.
At St Benedict’s, over a third of A-Level grades were A–B*, with strong results in History, English Literature, and vocational subjects like Environmental Science and Criminology.
Principal Ms Paddock said:

The school celebrated excellent outcomes for disadvantaged and EAL students, both achieving APS scores well above national averages.
