Central Team

As a Multi-Academy we have a talented team of staff led by our Catholic Senior Executive Leader, Mr Tom Leverage.

Every staff member, in all areas across all our schools,  work together to create a culture of excellence where everyone thrives.

At the core of our vision is working as one to enrich the learning experience of our young people, so that they may achieve their God-given potential. In order to achieve this we give our teaching staff the opportunity to focus on teaching, whilst our central team provide the support in other areas, like Finance, Operations, HR and School Improvement. 

Each of our schools receives expert guidance and support through our central Finance team, central operations team and central HR team.  Alongside this our schools have access to our dedicated Governance Professional and Communications Lead.  Our Executive Assistant supports all areas of the central team.

Finance Team

Trinity 019Our central Finance Team is led by our Chief Financial Officer - Louise Armfield - who is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and highly experienced in leading Finance teams in the private and public sectors.

Our CFO has responsibility for overseeing the budgets of our whole Academy and ensuring that resources are allocated to advance the opportunities of our young people.The finance team have a great wealth of knowledge and experience in the management of accounts, annual reporting, compliance, projects, purchasing and banking. 

They manage these areas for our schools, allowing the focus in schools to be on teaching and learning.

The team also have a dedicated and highly experienced Payroll and Pensions Manager, who works in partnership with all our schools and our external payroll provider.

 

Governance

Trinity 032Our highly experienced Governance Professional for the Multi Academy - Becky Perkes - is responsible for overseeing and supporting our schools with all aspects of governance and compliance.

The Board of Directors is the legally accountable body for the Multi Academy Company, but each school also has its own local governing body (LGB) which has a number of important functions delegated to it by the Board of Directors. These are set out in the Multi Academy Company’s scheme of delegation.

The Board of Directors and each individual school LGB is supported by the MAC Governance Professional and a Clerk who provide support, advice and guidance on all aspects of governance.

 

HR


M Andrews PhotoOur central HR team support the vision of becoming an employer of choice within Catholic Education and the wider community. The team strive to make employees feel valued in a diverse and inclusive culture.

The team provides support and guidance to leadership teams across our schools on recruitment of new staff, compliance, policies and procedures as well as absence management and personal development.

The team is led by our Head of Human Resources - Michele Andrews - and supported by the HR Manager.  Currently there is a vacancy for an HR Administrator to join the team.

Operations

Hannah Clemons

Our central operations team provides support and guidance to all our schools on Health and Safety, Estate and Premises, Catering, contract management, statutory compliance, and IT.

The team is led by Director of Operations - Hannah Clemons - an experienced and qualified School Business Manager who has a wealth of knowledge across many different sectors.

The team has a dedicated Estates and Facilities Lead, who is also the Academy Health and Safety Officer.  He leads on all Academy estates projects and has an oversight of implementation and monitoring of Academy wide facilities strategies.

Also part of the team is the Procurement and Contracts Manager, who is responsible for leading on all procurement activities and matters of contract management.

The Academy Catering Manager is also part of the team, she leads on all internal catering functions and has oversight of external catering contract management.

The team are supported by a Senior Administrator, who has organises schedules, keeps records up to date, take minutes and provides general support to all areas across the team.

School Improvement

Trinity 014Our highly experienced School Improvement Team led by our Director of Education- Mr Tony Quinn - work closely with the leadership teams across all our schools providing practical guidance and support to improve the standards of education for all our young people.

The team of  Assistant Directors of School Improvement, all of whom are experienced Headteachers with a track record of improving standards across different schools. Every school within the Academy attends regular reviews with the team to identify areas of strengths and good practice, as well discuss the areas of improvement.

Sharing of best practice is encouraged across schools and weekly meetings of all Headteachers takes place as a platform to enable this.

The team also have a full-time Data Lead, who is an expert in analysing data across schools on attendance, attainment, pupil progress and many more areas that benefit the leadership teams and help to guide their areas of focus.

Also part of the team, is our highly qualified Academy Careers Lead, who adds an additional layer of support for students’ personal development – ensuring every young person transitions to a positive and meaningful destination.
