St Benedict's - Celebrating Positive Behaviour

Behaviour Hubs

St Benedict's Catholic High School joined the Behaviour Hubs Programme following its Ofsted Inspection in 2023 with the aim being to creating a positive behaviour culture in lessons and during social times as well as developing consistent behaviour policy, standards and expectations.

The leadership team and the staff, with the support of the programme have worked hard to set up systems and process as well as work with the students to reset expectations.  It's been a journey but one that has been rewarding and the results are evident for all to see.

  • 75% of students saying they knew how the school expected them to behave and why

  • attendance improving from autumn term (92%) to spring term (93.5%)

  • a decline in low-level disruption and negative logs for school uniform

  • improved punctuality

The school have been featured on the GOV.UK website as an example of the success the Behaviour Hub Programme has had, you can read it HERE.
